Why we built Vowen.
We think everyone should get great voice-to-text without trading away their privacy or paying every month for it.
Most transcription services want a cloud connection, a subscription and your data. We went the other way. Vowen runs its speech models on your computer by default, uses cloud services only with your own key, and costs one price, once.
From here we keep doing the same thing: better features, and more voice automations that make the work you already do faster.
Vowen runs on macOS and Windows today.

We are a team of two, building Vowen part-time. We made it for ourselves first, because we needed it every day, and figured other people might too. It gets better based on how we actually use it.
